Alan W. Breed
President and Portfolio Manager

Alan joined Edgewood Management in 1994 as a Partner and a member of the investment committee from First Boston Corporation where he was a vice-president in the institutional equity department and a member of the firm's Stock selection committee. In addition to his years at First Boston, Alan worked at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. where he completed their equity research training program and joined the equity department. Alan graduated cum laude and was on the Dean's list at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management with an MBA. He completed his undergraduate work at Emory University where he graduated with a BA in economics. Alan is on the board of Greenwich Hospital where he Chairs the Investment Committee. He is also on the board and Investment Chair of the Stoney Wold Herbert fund and a past member of the Board of the Greenwich Retirement System.

Lawrence G. Creel
Partner and Portfolio Manager

Larry joined Edgewood Management in 1997 as a Partner. In addition to portfolio management and company research responsibilities, Larry is a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to joining Edgewood he spent 12 years at Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette, a New York based investment bank. Larry was a Vice President at DLJ in the firm’s equities division and was responsible for the firm’s top institutional accounts. He is a graduate of Lake Forest College and attended the New York University Stern School of Business. Larry is on the board of trustees at South Kent School and serves on its advancement committee.

Alexander M. Farman-Farmaian
Partner, Vice Chairman and Portfolio Manager

Alex joined Edgewood Management in January 2006 as a Partner, and Vice-Chairman.  Prior to that he was at W.P. Stewart & Co. for 19 years.  There he was a senior member of the U.S. and Global equity research and portfolio management teams.  He was responsible for managing some 20% of the Firm’s overall assets.  He chaired the Investment Oversight Committee and managed the bulk of the firm’s Global account assets since their inception.  Alex began his professional career in 1984 as a securities analyst at William De Broe, Hill, Chaplin & Company, a stock brokerage firm in London.  He then worked at Midland Bank Plc. in London as an economic analyst in their international division.  He received a B.A. in Economics from Princeton University in 1987.  Alex was President of the Princeton Club of New York until November 2006 and belongs to the Economics Club of New York.  He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).

Peter H. Jennison
Partner and Portfolio Manager

Peter joined Edgewood Management in January 2006 as a Partner. Prior to joining Edgewood Peter was at W.P. Stewart & Co. for 16 years. There he was a senior member of the US equity research and money management teams responsible for some 10% of the Firm's total assets. He was also President and Portfolio Manager of the W.P. Stewart Growth Fund, the firm's SEC registered mutual fund. While under Peter's management, the fund achieved a Morningstar five star ranking. Peter began his career as a specialist clerk on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange and later became a Research Coordinator at Shearson Lehman Brothers, Inc. While at Shearson, he managed discretionary accounts for individuals with a focus on quality growth shares. He was educated at Babson College and Columbia University.

Kevin R. Seth
Partner and Portfolio Manager

Kevin joined Edgewood Management in 1995 as a Partner after 9 years as an institutional salesman for Credit Suisse First Boston. He is on the firm’s investment committee. Kevin was hired by First Boston in London and later moved to New York and then Boston covering institutional accounts in the U.S. and Australia. Prior to First Boston Kevin worked in London from 1983 to 1986 for Robert Fleming Ltd. as a North American equities analyst and junior portfolio manager. He is a graduate of Montana State University with a BS degree in Economics and Pre-Law and is currently a board member and chairman of the finance committee for the Montana State University Foundation.

Nicholas A. Stephens, CFA
Partner and Portfolio Manager

Nick joined Edgewood Management in 1984 as an analyst after three years at Coopers & Lybrand as a management consultant. He became a Partner in 1986 and was given portfolio management responsibilities in 1987. He is on the firm’s investment committee. Nick graduated from Bennington College in 1977 with a B.A. in Literature and from Columbia University Graduate School of Business in 1981 with an M.B.A. in Finance. He is a member of the board of directors and head of the Community Fund of Bronxville, Eastchester and Tuckahoe, and is co-head of the Investment Committee of the Reformed Church of Bronxville. Nick also serves on the board of the Greater New York Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Donna M. Colon
Partner

Donna joined Edgewood Management in 1976 after five years as Assistant Comptroller at the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation. For the past two decades she has served as Edgewood’s Chief Operations and Administrative Officer as well as Corporate Secretary. Donna majored in accounting at St. John’s University. She served as Troop Leader of Rockland County Girl Scouts for eleven years. She organized and operated a hot meals program for homebound AIDS patients under the auspices of T.O.U.C.H of Rockland County.

Fausto Rotundo, CPA
Partner, CFO, Chief Compliance Officer

Fausto joined Edgewood Management in 1999 as its Chief Financial Officer after 3 years at Soros Fund Management. Prior to Soros he worked at Deloitte & Touche for 5 years in their tax department. Fausto graduated Saint Peter's College with an Accounting degree and completed his Masters in Taxation at Pace University. In 2004 he also became Edgewood’s Chief Compliance Officer. He is currently serving on Saint Peter’s College Board of Regents and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

James W. Carrier
Partner, Director of Marketing

Jim joined Edgewood Management in 2001 where he serves as the firm’s Director of Marketing. A 1984 graduate of Colgate University, Jim’s industry experience includes working at Standard & Poor’s Securities where he managed sales for the soft dollar brokerage unit. He is the co-founder of the Veterans Appreciation Council in Greenwich, Connecticut and he serves on several boards whose efforts are focused on supporting military personnel and their families. These boards include the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, Fisher House, The Navy SEAL Warrior Fund and Hope For The Warriors. He also served a 10 year term on the board of The Intrepid Museum Foundation.

Scott Edwardson
Research Analyst

Scott graduated from the University of Michigan in 1992 with a B.S.E. in Industrial and Operations Engineering. After college he worked at Ford Motor Company in forecasting, planning, and logistics for five years before leaving to attend graduate school. Scott graduated with honors from Columbia University Graduate School of Business in 2000 receiving an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting and is currently a member of the Business School’s Young Alumni Council. While studying full time at Columbia he worked as an analyst at Gabelli Asset Management and later interned at Edgewood Management. He accepted his current research analyst position with Edgewood Management in 2000.

Jim Robillard
Research Analyst

Jim joined Edgewood in 2004 as a Research Analyst. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. and received an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business with concentrations in Finance and Accounting in 2004. Jim worked at Baron Capital Management from 1996 - 1999. During his tenure at Baron, he held a wide variety of positions in sales and marketing capacities which culminated in his role as Director of Advisor Services. Late in 1999, he was hired by Van Wagoner Capital Management to build a strategy for the institutional account business, but he left that position to pursue his graduate school training and a transition to the analytical side of the business. Jim interned with Edgewood during the summer between his first and second years at the Chicago GSB and joined Edgewood immediately after graduation.
