Alex joined in January 2006 as a Partner and a member of the Investment Committee. He produces the “Economents™”, an economic and financial markets update. Prior to Edgewood, Alex was a senior member of the Portfolio Management team at W.P. Stewart & Co. for 19 years, and chaired the Investment Oversight Committee. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the World Presidents’ Organization, and Chief Executives Organization. Alex is on the Board of CollegeSpring and serves on the Wikimedia Endowment Board. Additionally, Alex is a member of the Economics Club of New York and is on the board of Kalinat S.A. He received a BA in Economics from Princeton University in 1987. He speaks fluent French, Spanish, and conversational Farsi and Italian.
